Given that I'm familiar with alternate versions of them in my universe? Yes, I believe they're the gods* of Norse mythology.
*In the sense that they're aliens with superhuman abilities and perceptions, alongside a unique relationship to the multiverse.


[ just because there are gods and hells and ghost riders with skulls for heads does not mean!! science can't explain it!! ]

Although their pseudo-human predicament concerns me on the whole, in this instance, I mean to single out Thor.
He recently disappeared and reappeared, entirely unaware of the gap in time between then and now. It would appear that similar incidents have affected the mortal among us as well, with some returning and more still missing.
I mean to say I don't think amnesia's a tenable explanation anymore, Clarke.
