[It is a very good thing she asked Rey to slow down, as she thought it was Morningstar with the pronoun ordering there and was very confused.]
I'm not sure we can connect those two occurrences. The monsters were attacking the city, and had to be stopped. We might want to look into why they're so well-prepared to launch. There may be something about this city's history that we're missing.
Going back to the first point, I don't think we're weapons. Or akin to weapons. We need to consider what happened with the last three arrivals. Do you think an army would drop off our people like that, and risk them being found without any identification information? I don't think so.
We might be some side effect of some weapons testing, but I don't know. I talked to Fitz and he said that a lot of this was only theoretical. Not actually possible. Except here, I guess, it is.
[ That an army wouldn't just leave weapons lying around, even defective ones, is the first solid proof that it's unlikely to be the UNA. They'd never have been dropped off in public like that.
She just wants have an answer, so she can do something. Puzzling through it really isn't her strong suit. ]
[That's absolutely true. Plus, her anger drives her. Her desire to stop the people who did this. They need to know how and why they did this to figure out how to get back, but that's only step one.]
None of us know enough.
But I will say that you might be right. Some of your friends may be here, after all. One of Connor's was.
I don't think so. The memory loss would be more selective. At least, that's what I think. It's hard to know if I've forgotten anything without a point of reference, but nothing feels like it's missing, other than getting here.
The other explanation I've come across is time travel. From what Fitz told me, that's more normal and explainable than being pulled across dimensions.

To make it weirder, Markus hadn't remembered Connor. Only the other way around. But they're definitely from the same version of Earth.

Then how would Connor have met him at all? Wouldn't Markus be gone, then?

Or don't remember.

[ it doesn't answer 'how,' but it's irrefutable. there's certainty in that, and rey trusts clarke. ]
