All right, we need to back up a bit.
Just to be clear: to the cat part. Not to where you think I'm accusing you of anything.
How do the cats factor into a head wound?

They don't. They were just all he could talk about before it happened.
Which I guess could tempt someone into hitting him over the head or something, but for the record, I didn't. I like cats.
