WANHEDA

CLARKE GRIFFIN. 24 years old¹ (October 1, 2131). Known as the Commander of Death ("Wanheda") to her people. Mother to Madi Griffin (adopted daughter) and daughter to Abby and Jake Griffin. A leader who will always do what's necessary for her people. Currently lives by the creed of "Do better," hoping that she can live up to the expectations of her deceased friend Monty Green. Spoilers: that's a tall ask.

→ SKILLS AND ABILITIES

LEADERSHIP SKILLS As a member of the privileged class of the Ark, Clarke grew up with a sense of confidence and self-importance, even if she was likely not always aware of that fact. It made her willing to step into the shoes of leadership, believing that it might be necessary. She's headstrong and ruthless, willing to do what's necessary. She does have some diplomacy skills, but she often throws caution to the wind to do what's right.

SURVIVAL SKILLS Between time on the ground and her training while in space, Clarke has a lot of survival skills. Camping, tracking, smoking, starting fires, being able to make good on her surroundings, being adaptable, and more. Clarke has gone over a month without proper food and water and survived. She's resilient.

MEDIC SKILLS While Clarke is not a doctor, she has extensive skills as an apprentice to her mother, and has been working on them for the last half decade (and more) of her life.

In meadowlark, Clarke has expanded on her medical training via classes and hands on training. She's still not a doctor, but she's improving.

WEAPONS Though she's without any kind of training, Clarke is a fair hand with a gun and a knife when she's in a bind. She's a damn good shot, and her medical training means she knows the best places to stab a knife to win out on a fight.

BRAWLING While Clarke isn't very clean in her fighting, she's capable of holding her own via brute force.

RADIOACTIVITY IMMUNITY In season 4 of The 100, Clarke's blood is changed to be Nightblood. What this means is that she can process radioactivity quickly. She can handle intense sunlight without getting a sunburn and can walk through a purely radioactive wall without a scratch. Her time with the blood has meant that she's built up this resistance.

FOURTHWALLING I'd prefer not, though I find it doubtful that any other fictional characters will know Clarke's canon.

PHYSICAL CONTACT Go for it! For Clarke's part, she's extremely tactile. She'll hold someone's hand, hug them, cuddle them, and it'll all be platonic. She's good for handholding and the like. Feel free to have your character shake off her grabbing for their hand—it's just what she does!

ROMANCE/SEXUAL STUFF I'm down. Clarke is bisexual, with no preference. Keep in mind that Clarke has a lot of angst in her past because two of her exes died, one of which died at her hand. She's good for casual intimacy, too (IE one night stands or sex to work off stress, etc.).

VIOLENCE Clarke is from an extremely violent canon, making her somewhat immune to it. She uses a gun freely and can jump to hurting someone if the time calls for it. While I'm not interested in killing Clarke, I'm down to get her banged up.

Clarke's canon is filled with a lot of bad stuff. Clarke in particular has themes of the following that will regularly come up in her play: genocide (of an entire people), suicide themes/imagery/ideation, murder, killing, child abuse (in that, yes, Clarke abuses her own daughter), torture, subjugation of someone else's body (where in this happened to Clarke), LGBT character death, blood, and medical-related themes and torture.

Ah, shipping. The older I get, the less I'm interested in fandom notions and practices of shipping, so FYI on that. I'm a diehard fan of Clexa, though minus all the icky "let's trash other characters and diminish their importance in the show." I only like Bellarke when there is a threesome involved, as I'm not terribly interested in the two of them in a shipping sense. Otherwise, I'm down to ship Clarke with Luna, Raven, Octavia, Echo, Murphy, Niylah, Diyoza, Gaia, Josephine (PLEASE) and Roan.
