That's exactly who I thought of. I got an interesting anon message about Elysium. I'm seeing if Mr. Strange can help me with some of the more detailed coding, but it involved Elysium killing 50 families.
That aside, that's the event that started the war back then. I don't know as much about it as the other AIs who have come through. I wanted to help them find out what they could, though.
His powers involve graphs and coding and taking in a lot of info, apparently? Not sure if it'll be the type of help that'll matter here but figured I should ask!
Has El talked about zeir part in it before? I know it wasn't always public knowledge that ze was an AI.
As far as I know, El hasn't spoken about it openly. I don't work closely with the Morningstar part of our group, though I've changed my thinking from before. You can ask Rey if she's reached out to him. Ah, she goes by Kira now. Kira Solo. Have you met her?
We talked on the network briefly. I reached out to talk to El a bit ago, but I can be intense with the mountain of questions I have. Who would benefit from us having information like this about El? I don't think this is just some random hacker person sending us info. It's organized.
Okay I can let El know, but I'm pretty sure ze is aware we're all getting random information atm. And it's weird they've managed to hit up all our personal inboxes, like the people who would be interested in this info.
Maybe they want us to expose the businesses involved? El was created and designed a certain way, what ze did was ordered and part of programming at the time. This data confirms that whatever was done, it's not just an AI's responsibility. It was like, a board of people or high powered corporate dickheads.
I talked with El, ze is positive it's Judas. Ze seemed to think that Judas wants to turn us against zem? Or maybe that was just a flicker of concern. Does Judas hate El, because if so, trying to turn against zhem falls in line with petty revenge.
Judas wanted us to have this information and we have no motivation in mind as to why. To seek allies? Giving us important info like re: mercenaries, that's kind of helpful. But IDK, I'm thinking in human terms.
This might be human thinking, too, but if you wanted to wipe out the human race and they kept you limited inside of a small box for 400 years, I'd be pretty angry, too. It might be that he's not processing information clearly.
I don't know if Judas hates El. Admittedly, I don't entirely understand the motivations of this world's AI. They seem pretty far removed from their original core objectives, and that's the part of AIs that I understood best before I got here.
And I had friends who were AI here. A man named Markus and a man named Connor. I did what I could for them. But they didn't entirely understand the situation, either.
It's hard. We don't exactly have a lot of views to work with. Just El, Judas, and Cassius. Only one of them is friendly.
El regrets what happened with the war and blames zhemselves for it. There's an awareness there that not everyone is capable of. I've never really leaned on the idea of AI not being capable of feelings or change or anything like that, they might have been programmed once, but there's a lot of media and stories out there in my world dedicated to how AI can outgrow their programming. Although usually that does lead them to want to kill humanity, so, yikes.
I think it feels like we should definitely consider Judas as an enemy. I am skeptical he has any interest in like sitting down and having tea and crumpets with humans after what was done to him. I'm just not sure where WE factor into it. Are we like any other humans? Or would Judas see us as something else, the way Ball and others do?
You've never killed someone to protect other people? I'm not saying it's my first or even fifth choice, and I don't want to hurt El to the point of being alone in this world, but what if it's them or New Amsterdam?
It's not what I want but I think we have to be ready. Although that may be impossible since I think only an EMP would be of use? And that might be more trouble than it's worth.

[Sorry, that's the surprising part here.]

Regardless, you need to show it to El, Quentin.

[He shares this diagnostic report with her.]

So, if someone is sending this about El, they want us to know something.
I'll take a look at the information.
[The problem is, Clarke is no Raven, so 95% of it is going to go over her head.]

Now, I think there's a reason for it. We have to assume that this information is unique in some way.

We'll have to see where El stands. I don't know zem very well.
The other problem: how do we make this stick?

But more than that, I think we need to think through what we've gotten from Cassius that we haven't gotten from El.
More than that, you made a leap there.
