But Markus was human, rather than a cyborg. Loki and Thor are gods, diminished. Remember when Thor punched a wall as if he thought he'd actually get through it? And the train—I wasn't on it. Peggy had history in this world that was impossible. And the dreams.
Any of the cynicism I had was gone before I met with Ball. Loki explains it well, too. The rules of my world don't have to apply to this one, and vice versa.

If we're really touched by a god, I would hope that it's some way to control this power.
But in that, the question comes: should we even be allowed to do that? Given what we know.
