But, I have a question for you that is more pertinant than that - I know I saw somewhere that you and I have been volunteering with the same group. PRESERVE. What do you think of their mission?

As for PRESERVE, I think ... they're safe. They don't push. They live within the confines of this world. And in doing so, they may be even more powerful than the UNA. They've earned trust.

I want to do well by this world, to leave it better than when we first arrived - I think more fondly of our time in Zerzura than most, I think. I might have become someone else for a time, but I appreciated his desires. Because of them, I want to work closely with PRESERVE. You're the only other person besides young master Sora who I know in relation to them, so I value your thoughts on them.
I also wanted to know if you had any interest in deepening relations with PRESERVE. On a -- practical level, the positive view of them could benefit us. On a personal level? I like them!
Huh, you're the first person who's admitted that to me. I think most people struggle with the part where it was likely a reflection of our selfish desire, but that isn't a bad thing. Those people may have wanted to sacrifice one world, but not without cause. Not without desperation and certainty. I understand that.
Those people would make fantastic monks, I daresay. Worldly attachments, shame over their desires and all of that.
I want to strengthen them. PRESERVE as I know it is a relief organization, they're always in need of volunteers and resources and what I'd like to be able to get for them is access to those things. A greater social presence, if need be. I don't want them to fall into the hands of a single entity, though. I want to protect them from grubby little corporations that might want to gobble them up if they start growing.
At least, that's my ultimate aim. Mostly, I just want to get a foot in the door and get a genuine job with them.
[She can't help but think of Titus. Given everything with him? That seems spot on—even if the Flamekeepers were not technically "monks" in the traditional sense. The values they passed on to the Commanders definitely fell into that category.]
